Ishida's Sunflower Handbag

Description

After reading some Bleach manga, I was inspired to make a replica of Ishida Uryuu's shopping bag--but in purse form. (In once scene, he was carrying a bag that said "Sunflower Tailor" on it...)

I cut up some old pants (haha) and used a zipper from a bag I was going to throw away. (Sorry if the writing is innacurate: I can't read Japanese, and I copied the lettering from a very small picture of Ishida several months ago!!)

The bag itself took only about four or so hours to make.

You probably don't care, but if you're interested, that Japanese on the bag is Katakana, a phonetic alphabet used by japanese to sound out foreign words and use them in their language. If you want to take a crack at what the bag says, there is a link to the alphabet here: [link]
Unless the words are something other than english (like french or something) you should be able to sound out something that's similar sounding to an english word. They use this alphabet for words like "Computer" and "Television" coming out phonetically like 'Ko n pyu ta a' and 'te re bi' in japanese. I've never seen the original picture of Ishida you speak of, but from what I've tried to translate, it looks like the top row says "Hi ma ku ku" which means nothing to me, and then "So i n gu" which I guess would be "sewing". As I have no idea how to speak japanese and can only read the characters, I can only speculate. Sorry for the uber long post, but you sparked my interest. xD

OH! And that's a FANTASTIC bag. I wish I could make cool-ass things from my old, yucky things! :D
